From the Desk of Principal

"I, as the head of the college, am happy to greet you at GDC R.S Pura. Our college is located in R.S Pura, Jammu and Kashmir. We believe that the goal of education is to teach students how to think for themselves and make sense of information. To do this, we offer great learning surroundings, modern facilities, and knowledgeable teachers with many years of experience.
At GDC R.S Pura, we aim to help students build confidence and independence, and encourage them to think critically so they can handle real-life situations. We not only teach knowledge but also give students a chance to put what they've learned into practice. We use technology to make learning easier and connect theory to real-world problems.
As per the directions of the Higher Education Department, the college has implemented the NEP 2020 policy in its entirety this session (2022-23) and enrolled a large number of students by catering to their academic needs. Additionally, add-on skill courses are being run for students to acquire additional or vocational knowledge and prepare for the future. The college has also been nominated as a research hub, and research work will soon be initiated for the convenience of students, providing a research environment at their doorstep.
We place great importance on helping students grow and develop in all areas, not just in academics, but also in co-curricular activities. These activities help students develop important skills such as leadership, communication, and creativity so they can succeed in a fast-paced world. Students who join us without much direction will see big changes in themselves by the time they graduate."
